California Privacy Policy

INTRODUCTION

Along with the information included in our Privacy Policy, under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") effective January 1, 2020, all California residents have the right to know and request access to their personal information that is collected, used and disclosed within the past 12 months. The residents have the right to delete their personal information under the CCPA and opt-out of selling where that occurs. The necessary instructions for submitting a request under the CCPA is mentioned below. We will not discriminate against you even if you choose to exercise any of your privacy rights under the CCPA.

HOW TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO KNOW, ACCESS, OR DELETE?

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SUBMIT A REQUEST TO KNOW, ACCESS, OR DELETE?

After you submit a request to know, access, or delete your personal information, we firstly confirm your identity. For the verification/confirmation, we take some reasonable steps including asking you to provide us some of your information that confirms your identity. If you wish to designate an authorized person to request on your behalf, please let us know beforehand when submitting your request. We will provide you with access to or delete your personal information once you request it, but in some circumstances, under the CCPA we may not provide access or delete that information. For example, we will not be able to delete the personal information that is needed to complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected initially. Also, we are not required to delete the personal information to detect illegal activity or fraudulent/ for tax purposes or bookkeeping, or even for legal purposes.

Please note that: We are not required to provide access or delete your personal information where your identity could not be verified or where the information would/could breach other's privacy or legitimate rights like intellectual property or legally privileged materials. In case, we restrict your request due to any of the instances, we will provide you with an explanation on why that step has been taken by us and a contact point for any other inquiries. Any request you place with us can be processed in no more than 45days from the day we receive your request. But if in case, we require an extension, we will notify you and process your request in no more than 90 days of your request. Please note that the customers are limited to only two requests to access their personal information within 12 months. The "Do not Sell" requests are generally processed within 15 days of the request.
